Descale Hood System Installed
A new RGS Mill Products Descale Hood Containment System was recently
installed on the R6 Roughing Mill at the ArcelorMittal Cleveland 84” Hot
Strip Mill. EAZ Technical Solutions provided complete design, detail, and
installation engineering for the design of RGS Mill Products Patented descale
containment system. Working with RGS Mill Products and AcrelorMittal
personnel, the 37 drawing project took into account
the severe hot strip mill duty and future equipment that may be installed. The
successful installation of this equipment represents the second complete RGS
Mill Products Descale Containment System that EAZ Technical Solutions has
provided complete design engineering services for. In each case, the
manufacture and installation has been completed
